Thank you for stopping by to visit my website. If you are a teacher looking for teaching ideas, a librarian looking for author visit details, or a student working on a book report -- you've come to the right place. For those of you with a little extra time, be sure to check out the new gallery of student artwork and writing related to my books.
My newest novel, All of the Above, is now available in paperback. Inspired by actual events, All of the Above tells the story of four urban students and their quest to set a math record. It's a fast-paced book with cool illustrations and recipes included in the story. It was recently named an ALA Notable book and a VOYA Top Shelf selection. The paperback edition includes a teacher’s guide, discussion questions, and a tetrahedron model to copy. I know many of you are continuing to make the journey to "Canaday" with Samuel and Harrison in Trouble Don't Last. Click here if you'd like to preview the curriculum ideas and teacher's guides for this novel and my other books. Crooked River is available in paperback with a special Reader's Theater script included. I am currently scheduling author visits for May - December 2008. My calendar fills up quickly, so if you are interested in an author visit, be sure to schedule early! (see my schedule here) Keep reading!- Shelley Pearsall, 2008
